Subway Ramsey has officially returned to the Isle of Man—this time inside Spar Garage at Parliament Square, Ramsey—bringing the beloved sub experience back after a two-year absence. Opened on 3 September 2025, the branch marks the island’s reconnection with the global sandwich brand after Shoprite closures in 2023.
Inside, the space is straightforward and clean, centered around the familiar Subway counter. The team building your meal—locals led by long-time Subway manager Paula Beck—crafts subs, wraps, salads, bowls, and “loaded spuds” to order, just the way you want them. It’s the perfect stop for a quick breakfast, a lunch on the go, or a post-shopping bite in town.
The return has stirred real community excitement—many residents welcomed the comeback, though a few voiced concerns about the potential impact on smaller local cafés. Managed by Mannin Retail, part of the Heron & Brearley Group, the Subway has already created 12 new local jobs, reconnecting the brand with island life.
The store welcomes customers daily:
- Monday–Saturday: 7 AM to 10 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM to 8 PM
The atmosphere is casual and reliable, with friendly local staff serving up familiar, customisable meals that fill a gap in Ramsey’s quick-bite scene. Whether you're stopping by before your commute, meeting friends, or craving a classic sub, Subway Ramsey blends convenience with the local warmth you’d expect.
Located in the bustling hub of Parliament Square—a key crossroads on the historic Isle of Man TT course—this Subway gives both residents and visitors a fresh, fast, and welcoming option in the heart of Ramsey.
